Christine Duncan teaches in the jazz programs at the University of Toronto and Humber College. She also performs with many musical groups and projects, notably Hugh Fraser’s Vancouver Ensemble of Jazz Improvisation (VEJI), Barnyard Drama with drummer/electronic artist Jean Martin, and more recently with 2014 Polaris Prize winner, Tanya Tagaq. She directs an improvising choir in Toronto called the Element Choir and regularly teaches voice and improvising workshops. Christine is also part of Barnyard Records, an independent record label, run by her partner Jean Martin.
