Danny Michel: New Tour, New Ride

Singer-songwriter Danny Michel is no stranger to hitting the road and touring.  He's just announced a new cross-country tour is in the works, but this time he's venturing out with a remarkable new vehicle.

Michel recently acquired what's come to be known as the Star Trek Van, a 1970's era Boogie Van festooned with Trekkie airbrushed art. Including portraits of Spock, McCoy and Kirk, the van currently holds fort on Vancouver Island.  Michel will pick it up and drive it back to his Waterloo-area home, performing shows and producing a web-based TV show along the way.

Rumoured participants include Joel Plaskett and Commander Chris Hadfield.
