Madeleine Peyroux is a world renowned jazz vocalist, songwriter, guitarist and Decca recording artist. Born in Athens, Georgia, and moving between Brooklyn and Paris as a teenager, Madeleine started her performance career as a street busker in Paris.

Bursting onto the jazz scene in 1996 with her debut record Dreamland, Madeleine was praised for a vocal maturity far beyond her years, with many drawing comparisons to Billie Holiday. Her latest record is 2013's The Blue Room (Decca). Produced by the esteemed Larry Klein, The Blue Room is a salute to the countrypolitan style of Ray Charles' Modern Sounds in Country & Western, and spent the first 4 weeks of its release at #1 on the Billboard jazz charts.
