Maggie Huculak has been performing on Canadian stages for 35 years. Theatrical credits include The Flood Thereafter (CanStage), Six Essential Questions (Factory Theatre), the national/international tour of Half Life, Toute Comme Elle and Divisidero (Necessary Angel), Antigone, Travesties, A Christmas Carol and The Wild Duck (Soulpepper); The Woman in White (Theatre Aquarius), Age of Arousal (Nightwood), 4:48 Psychosis (Summerworks); The Clean House, The Glass Menagerie, Elizabeth Rex,and The Black Bonspiel of Wullie MacCrimmon (Globe Theatre).TV/film: series recurring: Puppets Who Kill, Wind at My Back, The Adventures of Shirley Holmes, Eric's World, and Queer as Folk.
Ms. Huculak narrated dramatizations of Michael Ondaatje's In the Skin of a Lion and The English Patient for CBC radio, and was the sole narrator of the epic CBC documentary series Canada: A People's History. She is a six-time Dora nominee, receiving a Dora award for Mein (co-author) and a Chalmer's award for Betrayal (co-author).
