REBEKAH WOLKSTEIN

Rebekah Wolkstein holds a doctorate in violin performance from the University of Toronto. She has toured and performed extensively with the Toronto Symphony, National Ballet of Canada, Esprit Orchestra and the Canadian Opera Company. She has performed as a soloist on a Mooredale concert with principal players from the Toronto Symphony, as well as in recitals with world-renowned tenor, Russell Braun and pianist Carolyn Maule and a klezmer performance in Glenn Gould Studio with Annamaria Popescu, David Buchbinder and Joseph Macerollo.

Rebekah is an active studio musician, performing for pop, jazz, folk, and R & B records, TV, and film. She also teaches private lessons at Humber College and has coached ensembles for the Glenn Gould School Young Artist pre-college program, for the Royal Conservatory and for the Mooredale Youth Orchestra.
