SUSAN HOEPPNER

Canadian flutist Susan Hoeppner is an established international soloist and chamber musician, having performed as a guest soloist with orchestras around the world. In Canada, she has performed with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Edmonton Symphony, Calgary Symphony, among many others.

A celebrated recording artist, her numerous discs have been received with critical acclaim. Susan Hoeppner is proud to introduce works by Canadian composers to her audiences, and has been invited to perform in Canadian Embassies worldwide. She recently commissioned a new flute Sonata by Gary Kulesha and will premiere this work in her upcoming 2013-14 season in Canada and Mexico.

Susan Hoeppner graduated from The Juilliard School in New York. An esteemed mentor herself, Susan is on faculty at the Royal Conservatory of Music's Glenn Gould School and the University of Toronto.
