TESS GIRARD

Tess Girard is a Toronto- and Prince Edward County-based filmmaker and cinematographer.

Her recent films include Old Growth, A Simple Rhythm and Benediction.

Girard has collaborated with many renowned artists, including Peter Mettler (Gambling, Gods and LSD), Ryan J Noth (National Parks Project), Andrea Nann (Dreamwalker Dance), Charles Spearin and other members of Do Make Say Think.

Recently Girard was co-director of The Historica-Dominion Institute's relaunch of Canada's Heritage Minutes and created the radio documentary The Heart of The Beat for CBC's IDEAS.

Girard is also co-owner of Fifth Town Films.
